A new research in the
science community that is supported by some and rejected by others is
the cellular memory theory. In simple terms, this theory states that the
nerve cells in our organs store memories, like our individual habits,
cravings, etc. and when a donor's organ is transplanted into the person
receiving the organ, some parts of the donors trates also get
transferred.
The organ that is seen to change a person most is the heart transplant, where the recipient has said to be craving things that the donor had liked when they were alive.Quite a fascinating theory. A fine example of continuing to live in some form even after death.Being an organ donor might after all be a way to let some part of us live on.....a bit longer.
