About 50-100
million years ago, there was a small strip of continent between what is
now India & Madagascar. Scientists have found proof of this
continent from beaches of Mauritius. Rodinia is said to have existed
around the time when the tectonic plates were breaking apart. This is
how Seychelles came to be. Over time, it has disappeared underwater.
